Installation

1. Download and save BioDownloaderInstaller.exe from http://dunbrack.fccc.edu/BioDownloader/BioDownloader.php to any temporary local folder:

2. Run the installer by double-clicking on BioDownloaderInstaller.exe and then follow the on-screen instructions.

   • At first, the installer will check if all prerequisite operating system components are installed (Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0, Microsoft Windows Installer, etc.) If not, it will automatically download and install them. If you licensed to use Microsoft Windows operating system, you may install and use those components. This stage will take up to several minutes (~ 2-8 minutes).

   • At second, the installer will deploy the BioDownloader application itself. Please follow the simple on-screen instructions. The second stage will take less than one minute.

3. Launch the BioDownloader application by

• either double-clicking the BioDownloader desktop icon, or
• clicking Start → All Programs → BioDownloader or Start → All Programs → BioDownloader → BioDownloader,
• or double-clicking Application_Folder\BioDownloader.exe.

Uninstall

If you want to uninstall BioDownloader, go to 

• either Start → All Programs → BioDownloader → Uninstall BioDownloader
• or Start → Control Panel → Add or Remove Programs, then select BioDownloader and click on Remove button.

Notice: Deinstallation won't delete the user-created files (downloaded, updated, converted, updated files and task, task list, configuration files, etc.)
