When you decide to close BioDownloader, using the Main Menu click File → Exit application or User → Exit application, or just click the cross icon:

If some of tasks are still running and you haven't aborted them yet, you will be shown the following warning window:
If you have unsaved tasks, you will be prompted to save them:
We strongly recommend to change their default filenames: Untitled1.task, Untitled2.task, etc. to something meaningful.
If you don't save one of the unsaved tasks, you will be given the last chance to save them and close BioDownloader later:
