Choosing a current user name

When the user starts BioDownloader, one of the first windows is the 'Choose current user' window.

At this stage you should select the user name associated with the session you are going to work on. You might just input your first name or last name or nickname. When you are more familiarized with the application, you may want to create several user accounts for each specific project if the projects are getting too big and confusing to use.

Next time you start BioDownloader you can return to the previous session by selecting the appropriate user account name:

The user session, or user account, or user project includes:

• name
• recent task list
• graphical user interface preferences and settings
• open/save dialog paths to recent folders
• recently opened tasks
• recently appended task lists
• etc.
