Creating Phylogenetic Trees

ArboDraw  is capable of creating phylogenetic trees if provided a set of protein sequences in FASTA format. The user can open (File->Open->Sequence Set )

or create a new sequence set (File->New Sequence Set):

The user can Copy/Paste sequences into the Sequence Set window and Save the sequence set. By clicking on Build Tree, MUSCLE is called to create a phylogenetic tree.

At the end of the MUSCLE run, if finished successfully, ArboDraw will open the newly-created tree.
